Kayci Cail
Ms. Cail joined Kannin Law Firm as a legal assistant in 2005. She graduated with honors from Highline Community College’s ABA-accredited Paralegal Program in June 2006. Ms. Cail serves as the criminal defense paralegal and personal injury pre-litigation case manager. Hers is also the pleasant voice you hear on the phone when you call Kannin Law Firm to speak with an attorney or set up an appointment!

Lisa Mitchell
Ms. Mitchell was admitted to the bar by the Washington State Supreme Court in June 2011. Prior to passing the bar, Ms. Mitchell worked at Kannin Law Firm as a Rule 9 intern. She joined the firm as a full-time attorney in October, 2011.
Ms. Mitchell graduated from Seattle University School of Law, focusing primarily on criminal and civil litigation. She participated in multiple mock trial events, including the National Appellate Advocacy team. While a member of the National Appellate team, Lisa wrote a Supreme Court brief and argued at the United States Court of Appeals in San Francisco.
During law school, Ms. Mitchell worked at the Pierce County Department of Assigned Counsel. While at the public defender’s office, she represented a variety of clients and argued in front of the Pierce County Superior Court.
Ms. Mitchell is a member of the American Bar Association and the Washington State Bar Association, the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the King County Bar Association’s Judicial Selection Committee.
